I've become addicted to trying to amuse my friends. I crave their comments and positive feedback. And you're right. It's all about me. Occasionally I post about one of my authors (I work in Christian publishing), so I can feel like part of what I do is mission-minded, but if I'm honest with myself, the whole facebook thing is about feeding my need for attention.
