Morning Migraine – Rob Bell doesn’t use the word “Church”

In an attempt to keep up with the Rob Bell theme and throw any if not all blog viewership out of the windowwe have found this clip for today’s morning migraine. Rob Bell discussing why he does not use the word “Church” to define Mars Hill because he tries to avoid labels.

I wonder how Jesus Christ feels about Rob Bell refusing to label his Bride what He calls her. It was after all the very label Christ gave her.

    Argh! So confusing. Mars Hill Church v Mars Hill Bible Church. Does he perhaps not use ‘church’ out of slight because Driscoll got the domain name first? I’m starting the rumor…

    after wathcing the clip, i don’t think it is the word Church that he is against, it is the word Emergent.

    Yeah, I think it’s the label “emergent church” or “emerging church” he has a problem with.
